Jordan Tollakson was a dirt track racer who wanted shirts for his fans. The problem was the same one every driver faces: to get custom apparel, you had to spend thousands of dollars up front on a bulk order you might never sell through. Art fees alone were $300+, gone forever, before a single shirt was printed.
That didn't sit right.
In 2014, Jordan founded Fast Threads Inc. (previously Outlaw Graphix) with a simple idea — there had to be a better way for racers to get merch without the financial risk. What started as a small operation grew into something nobody else in the industry was doing: a no-cost online store program where drivers could sell custom shirts to their fans without spending a dime up front.
The concept was simple. We design the shirt. We build the store. Fans order directly. We print, pack, and ship every order. The driver earns free merch or money back from every sale. No inventory. No risk. No cost.
Nobody else was offering this. As far as we know, we were the first to bring this model to the racing industry. Since then, others have tried to follow suit — but with 500+ driver merch stores built and over 1,000 orders completed, BuyRaceShirts remains the original and the standard.
What started as a one-person operation grew into a full production facility with three locations, state-of-the-art automatic machinery, in-house embroidery, DTF printing, wide format graphics, laser engraving, and a team that lives and breathes this work.
